ARENA was selected and hired by the Local Organising Committee and FIFA as its technical Engineer & Architecture Department, responsible for all overlay development/maps & plans drawings and putting in place the entire procurement strategy.
ARENA built a complete and comprehensive overlay procurement model, compiling heavy and detailed technical documentation (drawings and BOQs), guiding the full process to the 12 Host Cities. After the contractors had been appointed, ARENA also managed all suppliers on-site, monitoring the schedule and event technical adherence compliance. The scope included FIFA World Cup 2014 and FIFA Confederations Cup 2013 events overlay planning and delivery.
