CBF Academy

More than 10,000 students have graduated into one of the current 50 courses of the CBF academy, since 2009, whether in Football, Futsal or Beach Soccer. At the School of Management and Business, it offers courses aimed at the administration area, football management and business, eSports, technology and innovation. ARENA was selected by the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) to develop the masterplan and accomodate the new Academy facilities, close to CBF headquarters, in Rio de Janeiro. The program included 2 official football pitches, a professional and roofed beach soccer and Futsal courts, administrative buildings for courses and licensing programs, moreover a conference hall, changing, technical and medical facilities. The new Training Center is part of a lagoon adjacent land with a running track inserted in an ecological park with more than 4 hectares of preserved forest. The designed complex follows contemporary architecture, aiming to be LEED certified, achieving the highest international foootball academic standards.
